Things have once again been quiet on the blog front for the last few weeks. On Friday the 7th of September I was married to Julie Astbury at Whixall Church in North Shropshire. The reception was at Hawkstone Park Hotel.
The weeks up to this day grew increasingly stressful as the day drew nearer. The day itself was superb, with many friends and relatives enjoying a beautifully sunny day and The food was great, the speeches appeared to go down well and so far everybody has said they throughly enjoyed the day. We could not ask for more.
Thank you to everybody for their best-wishes, the wonderful cards and gifts. Thank for your support. With out you our special day would not have been so special.
I will post some of the many candid photos taken by family and friends on this site. If you have some that we don’t know about, please let us have a copy. The official wedding photographs will be available for viewing in the next week or so at: lifestyle photography.
We have just returned from our honeymoon on the Garden Island of Kauai. Kauai is a piece of paradise is located on the far northwest corner of the group of Hawaiian islands. Kauai’s remote location has kept the isle independent and less developed than the other islands. The island inhabitants are very keen on conservation and eco-tourism and they certainly gave us a very freindly welcome. The lush island has been used for the filming of King Kong, Jurassic Park, South Pacific and Raiders of the Lost Ark to name but a few. I will post some more detail on our fabulous in the next couple of days.
A sample of the candid shots is below:
