Town Council sets it’s precept at 2.5%

After a relatively short estimates meeting tonight Bridgnorth Town Council has agreed to set a precept of 2.5%. Only Christian Lea voted against the proposed budget – he did not speak at the meeting nor did he propose any amendments, so we will have to guess why he did not support the budget. This budget is a prudent budget which will allow the Town Council to continue to maintain the important assets of the town whilst ensuring a degree of stability and predictability. This budget is a credit to the staff at the council & to the members who have all worked hard over a number of years to achieve this budget.
