Dates: Monday 11th August to Friday 22nd August 2025
Times: 07:00 to 17:00 (weekdays only)
Promoter: Shropshire Council
North Drive in Park Hall, Oswestry, will be temporarily closed for essential resurfacing works. The closure will be enforced during weekday working hours to minimise disruption. Residents within the closure zone will retain access, although brief delays may occur to ensure safety for both residents and workers.
A diversion route has been published via the A5 one.network. Queries can be directed to Shropshire Council’s Street Works Team at 0345 6789006 or streetworks@shropshire.gov.uk
Earlier this week, I was contacted by The Park Hall Farm Countryside Experience about their concerns for visitors accessing the site. After a prod from me, Keir’s project supervisor has now reassured them that their specific needs will be catered for during the works. If you plan to visit during the roadworks, you can be assured that access won’t be a problem. I am sure that Park Hall Farm will post updates on their website: https://www.parkhallfarm.co.uk/
