Major resurfacing from Queens Head through Rednal to the parish boundary as part of the extended prevention package of road works. This package is now well underway and includes 90 such resurfacing roadworks plus a further 72 surface dressing works.
This work will be carried out in 3 chunks. It will be a full closure during the day, with some nighttime closures as well.
The road from Queens Head to Rednal will be the first phase.
Rednal to the Rednal Mill Farm / River Perry Parish boundary will be the second phase.
The third and no less significant phase is the night closure at Rednal. This is to minimise disruption at the junction. I have asked officers if they are letting residents there know directly.
Good to see the date finally confirmed after it was listed in the improved prevention program announced earlier in the year.
