The A495 between Whittington and Ellesmere will be closed for vital repairs. The closure excludes weekends and bank holidays. Access will be maintained for emergency services and residents, though brief delays may occur.
Advance signage and a signed diversion route will be in place. I have raised concerns about traffic rerouting via Berghill Lane and St Martins, and have asked for signage to be reviewed to mitigate this. I haven’t had a response yet, but I will update here if I do.
